Ages 6 to 8 Art Class

At this age, kids are curious and self-confident, open to new ideas, and certain about what they like. They are what many adult artists dream to be. We find it very important for young artists to know that Fine Art is not about just following step-by-step instructions. We teach them to create something brand new, using the endless resource of their imagination. In our Kenai Art Studio children will:

• Learn to express themselves authentically and freely through art
• Create multiple paintings, drawings, collages, and mixed-media art projects
• Learn a wide variety of art techniques
• Receive nurturing one-on-one expert art instruction in our small art classes
• Feel proud as they finish beautiful art to exhibit at home
• Learn about many famous artists, art history, and artistic styles

Class Price: $25 including all materials.
